General Notes:
There is some discrepancies in Dad's birth date. When he went to retire with the Social Security office he had to prove the date of birth and could not do so as the court house had burnt down and all the records were lost. He finally found a Bible that had it recorded in it as a different date than he had always calibrated it on and used that record to get Social Security. So whether it was the 26th or 23rd is unsettled. I am using the 23rd, the date found in the Bible.
Dad died in Arizona while he and mother were traveling. They were staying in their trailer and sight seeing.
We all went to Arizona to be with him and mom, as mom had phoned that he was dying,, but Ray was the only one that got there before he died. Ray said it was a peaceful passing and he was telling jokes as he died.
Medical Notes:
Real cause of death, Smoking. He had a good heart, but it was damaged by smoking that damaging the lungs and he was told he could not live if he did not give up smoking, but wanted to smoke.
