Sir David fitz Walter, 2nd of Cadzow fought in the Battle of Halidon Hill in 1333.1 He fought in the Battle of Durham in 1346, where he was captured by the English.1 In 1361 he was the benefactor of the diocese of Glasgow.1 In 1371 he was one of the Scottish nobles consenting to the crowning of King Robert II.1
