Sir David fitz Walter, 2nd of Cadzow fought in the Battle of Halidon Hill in 1333.¹ He fought in the Battle of Durham in 1346, where he was captured by the English.¹ In 1361 he was the benefactor of the diocese of Glasgow.¹ In 1371 he was one of the Scottish nobles consenting to the crowning of King Robert II.¹
