He died in 1210 at dungeons of Corfe, Windsor, Berkshire, England , starved to death by King John.1 William de Briouze was also known as William de Breuse.2

William married Matilda de Clare [10430] [MRIN: 4601], daughter of Richard de Clare 3rd Earl of Hertford [971] [9C9M-324] and Amicia of Gloucester Countess of Gloucester [6424], in 1206. (Matilda de Clare [10430] was born about 1184 and died in 1213.)
