• Acceded: Lord of Albret and titular Count of Dreux, 1415. His father died in 1415 at the Battle of Agincourt , leaving the younger Charles as Lord of Albret and titular Count of Dreux , titular count since after Agincourt the lands of the county of Dreux were in English hands.

Charles married Anne d'Armagnac [12873] [MRIN: 5988], daughter of Bernard VII d'Armagnac [11888] and Bonne of Berry [11889], in 1417.
