died in 'The Hundred Years War' with France, serving with the Bastard of Clarence, who was Deputy Governor of Paris, for his uncle, John, Duke of Bedford. May have drowned in the Seine River along with Thomas, 8th B. Roos (18 Aug 1430), whose daughter, Margaret, would later marry his son Thomas.

Thomas married Elizabeth Percy [40277] [MRIN: 11342], daughter of Henry Percy Sir Knight [4799] and Elizabeth Bruce [40276], about 1429 in Atholl, Perthshire, Scotland. (Elizabeth Percy [40277] was born about 1408 in Atholl, Perthshire, Scotland and died after 28 Sep 1455 in Northumberland, England.)
