George Home, 1st and last Earl of Dunbar was invested as a Knight on 4 November 1590 by King James VI of Scotland.² He was created 1st Earl of Dunbar [Scotland] on 3 July 1605.¹
The Earldom of Dunbar became extinct on his death.
