John Ashburnham, 1st Baron Ashburnham was born on 15 January 1655/56.1 He was the son of William Ashburnham and Hon. Elizabeth Poulett .1 He married Bridget Vaughan , daughter of Walter Vaughan and Alice Bond , on 22 July 1677 at Westminster Abbey, Westminster, London, England .1 He died on 21 January 1709/10 at age 54 at Southampton Street, Bloomsbury, London, England 1 He was buried on 1 February 1709/10 at Ashburnham, Sussex, England .1 John Ashburnham, 1st Baron Ashburnham held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Hastings between 1679 and 1681.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Hastings between 1685 and 1687.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)
