Artatama I was a king of the Hurrian kingdom of Mitanni in the late fifteenth century BC . Little is known of this king who has not left any inscriptions. Artatama is referred to in the Amarna letters as an ancestor who established an alliance with Egypt He was succeeded by his son, Shuttarna II , and he may have been the father of Queen Mutemwiya, who was the mother of Amenhotep III .

Artatama married Menwi Princess of EGYPT [61688] [MRIN: 551617745], daughter of Thutmose (Tuthmosis) III `the Great' PHARAOH of EGYPT [61689] and Sitiah [61690].
