• MilService. 1297 Was in Co.C, 1st. N.Y. L.A. GAR
Died very young. He returned home from the Civil War in poor
health and never recovered.

Buried in Ramapo Reform Church graveyard in Mahwah, NJ Was a
Deacon in Church and was first buried behind the Church in the
old Grave yard and was later moved across the street in the new
grave plot that was owned by his son Charles.

Have copy of his Death Cert. (See Picture) Has Abram and Annis
as Father and Mother.

Believe that he was living in Ramsey, NJ at time of death as
noted that the Death Cert was signed in Ramsey and I know that
his son, Charles was raised in Ramsey.

1879 West Milford Township, Passaic County, New Jersey. "Will
of Abram Mabee, of West Milford Township, Passaic County, dated
3/13/1879, probated 5/15/1879, mentions wife Annie, "my eight
sons" John, Jacob, Harris, Iseral, Samuel, Abram, Martin and
Thomas; and "my two daughters" Mary Francis and Anna. It is
implied that more than one of the children are under age 21,
but Anna is the only one specifically identified. Abram's land
is described by reference to the purchase of 11 lots between
the years 1852 and 1866."
