Mabel of Chester was born after 1171.² She was the daughter of Hugh of Kevelioc, 3rd Earl of Chester and Bertrada de Montfort .¹ She married William d'Aubigny, 3rd Earl of Arundel , son of William d'Aubigny, 2nd Earl of Arundel and Matilda de St. Hilary du Harcouet .¹
Her married name became d'Aubigny.¹
