• No Name, 25 Mar 1769. 121 Casparus Mabie was mentioned in the will of Pieter Mabie 25 Mar
1769 . "Will of Peter Mabee, dated 3/25/1769, proved 7/8/1772,
names his wife Cathalinte, his brother Johannes, his eldest son
Casparus, sons Peter, Joost, Jeremiah, Abraham, and youngest
son Cornelius, and daughters Elizabeth (wife of Abraham
Harring), Sophia (wife of Johannes De Lamater) and Mary (wife
of John Westervelt). NOT mentioned: Johannes and Rachel. Also
named as executor is "my loving brother Johannes". Note that
Johannes was still alive, and served as an executor, when the
will was proved in July 1772."

Orangetown, Orange County, New York. "Will of Casparus Mabie,
son of Peter Mabie, dated 9/23/1782, proved 2/10/1784, names
wife Willempje, sons Peter, Cornelius, Abraham, and daughters
Mary, Cathaline, Catharine, Margaret and Elizabeth. Also
mentions son-in-law Johannes Bogert. Sons Peter and Abraham
were unmarried at the time of this will, and remained so until
their deaths in 1839 (Peter) and 1836 (Abraham)."
