rother and heir of John De Ros, 8th Lord Ros, and was aged fourteen at his brother's death. He was knighted BEF the King at Leicester on 19 May 1426, served in France under the Duke of Bedford in 1427, and was summoned to Parliament in 1429. Died on the 18 Aug 1430, having drowned in the River Seine near Paris, during one of the many small, un-reported actions and skirmishes of the 'Hundred years War' with France.
Thomas married Eleanor Beauchamp Duchess Somerset [14430] [MRIN: 9444], daughter of Richard of Warwick de Beauchamp 13th Earl of Warwick [8661] and Elizabeth de Berkeley Countess of Warwick [8840]. (Eleanor Beauchamp Duchess Somerset [14430] was born in 1407 in Wedgenock, Warwick and died on 4 Mar 1467 in Baynard's Castle, London, England.)
