Performer in masques (Vision of the Twelve Goddesses, 1604; Masque of Blackness, 1605, both as Lady Elizabeth Howard; Hymenai, 1606, as Lady Knollys). Officially Edward Vaux had no issue, but the two sons borne to Elizabeth, were widely supposed to have been Edward's children, rather than the children of William Knollys.
