Beatrice married Otto IV of Brunswick Holy Roman Emperor [8548] [MRIN: 13608], son of Henry the Lion of Saxony Duke of Saxony and Bavaria [6690] and Matilda (Maud) Plantagenet [3910], on 22 Jul 1212 in Nordhausen. (Otto IV of Brunswick Holy Roman Emperor [8548] was born about 1183 and died on 19 May 1218.)

They were married in Nordhausen on 22 July 1212. The bride was fourteen years old and the groom about thirty-seven. However Beatrice soon fell sick and died only nineteen days after the marriage. She was childless at the time of her death.
