Baron Torbaltoun. Provost of Dunbarton. Bishop of Caithness 1542. Later took the titles of Earl of March and Lord of Dunbar in exchange for Lennox so the King could grant this on Esme Earl of Aubigny. The Complete Peerage vol.VII, pp.601-602.
