Acceded: Queen consort of Hungary, 1131. was Queen consort of Hungary through her marriage with Béla II , who ruled 1131-1141. Regent: Kingdom of Hungary, 13 Feb 1141. When her husband died on 13 February 1141, their eldest son Géza II ascended the throne while still a child. Therefore, Helena and her brother Belo Vukanovic , whom she had invited to the court, governed the Kingdom of Hungary till September 1146 when he came of age. ![]() Helena married Béla II the Blind King of Hungary [7321] [MRIN: 2858], son of Almos of Hungary Duke of Croatia [7322] and Predeslava of Kiev [8455]. (Béla II the Blind King of Hungary [7321] was born about 1110 and died on 13 Feb 1141.). The cause of his death was alcohol. |
