He died before 1166 at Bronllys Tower, Breconshire, Wales , mortally hurt by a stone dropped from the tower, without issue.¹
William of Hereford held the office of King's Constable.¹ He succeeded to the title of Lord Abergavenny [Feudal] circa 1164.¹
