Constance, whose parentage has been subject to recent speculation - associated with the lords of Marañon in traditional sources, she has lately been suggested to have been daughter of queen Estefanía, King García's wife, and hence stepsister of her husband.

Constance married Sancho Garcés sn de Uncastillo y Sangue [6228] [MRIN: 2173], son of García III of Navarre Sánchez [6229] and Estefania (Stephanie) of Foix [6305], before 1057. (Sancho Garcés sn de Uncastillo y Sangue [6228] died after Dec 1073.)
