• Acceded: summoned to parliament, 25 Feb 1432. He was summoned to parliament as sixth Baron Welles from 25 February 1432 to 30 July 1460.

Lionel married Joan (or Cecilia, Cecily) Waterton [18926] [MRIN: 9115], daughter of Sir Robert of Waterton Waterton [18927] and Joan de Everingham [18928], about 1426.
