  General Notes:

Baldwin may not belong here. He is not shown some places such as Wikipedia, but Brian Tompsett of the University of Hull; Hull, England, has him as the father of Hugh in his work Royal Genealogical. Jamie Allen in her work Fabulous Pedigree shows both ways. With him in and with him out as possibilities. When Jamie leaves Baldwin out she puts in Manasses II Count de Rethel died 1056 to take Baldwin's place to fill the gap. Neither Baldwin or Manasses that died in 1056 are mentioned in the list of Counts of Rathel.
