Henry drowned at sea off Tyre in June, 1276 while sailing to Tripoli in a German ship. His body was recovered and, after the death of their son Hugh, both were returned to Nicosia for burial.
His children both adopted their mother's surname of "de Lusignan", founding the Second House of Lusignan.
Henry married Isabella of Cyprus de Lusignan Princess of Antioch [7532] [MRIN: 2960], daughter of Hugh I of Cyprus de Lusignan King of Cyprus [7533] and Alice of Champaigne Queen consort of Cyprus [7534]. (Isabella of Cyprus de Lusignan Princess of Antioch [7532] was born about 1216 in Cyprus, died in 1264 and was buried in Nicosia.)
