Albert I the Great of Brunswick-Lüneburg Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg [8545] ²⁴

   Another name for Albert was Albert the Tall.

  General Notes:

A renown soldier who, at the head of the Bohemians and Brunswickers, defeated
a powerful army of Hungarians, and captured their King. In 1258 he took the
Fortress of Asseburg after three years' seige, and also acquire by conquest
the lordship of Wolfenbuttel.
