Julia E. Lobdell-Armstrong fell in love with a traveling salesman. Kenneth L. McClellan. Sometime between 1884, and 1885, she took the youngest three daughters, Lillie Mae Armstrong/b. 1878, Iva Maude Armstrong/b. 1881, and Celia Gertrude Armstrong, b. 1883, and left Wallace W. Armstrong, and the older four children, Minnie Armstrong, b. 1872, Edward D. Armstrong, b. 1883, Arthur F. Armstrong/b. 1885, and Erbin Armstrong/b. 1877 with him in MN. Julia travelled with Kenneth L. McClellan to Zillah, Yakima Co., WA. She divorced Wallace, and married Kenneth Mc Clellan in 1889. They had a daughter Kate Helen McClellan, b 1890 in MN. Julia E. Mc Clellan is buried beside Kenneth L. Mc Clellan in Zillah, Yakima, WA.
