I found an Elizabeth Whiteman (born 10 Oct 1755 in Philadelphia, PA) who was issued a marriage license in PA on 7 May 1776. She married George Wood (born 29 Nov 1753, son of Andrew Wood), on 8 May 1776 in Germantown, Philadelphia, PA and later moved to KY. Elizabeth's father was Benjamin Whiteman. SPECULATION is that Elizabeth could be the sister of Abraham, which would mean that their father is Benjamin. Abraham's son, Daniel, had a son named Benjamin, who also had a daughter named Elizabeth. If this is Abraham's sister, her child is as follows:
Elizabeth Wood, married Benjamin Bayless. Child of Elizabeth & Benjamin Bayless was Maria Bayless. She married John Coburn DeWees, and their child was Samuella Tannehill DeWees. Samuella Tannehill DeWees married John Carr Cochrane. Their children are Samuel Poyntz Cochrane, born in Dallas, TX and James Wasson Cochrane, born in New York.
