He held the office of M.P. for Windsor from 1588 to 1589. He succeeded to the title of 6th Lord Abergavenny [E., 1450] on 10 Feb 1588/89. He held the office of M.P. for Windsor in 1593. On 25 May 1604 the title, Lord Abergavenny, was confirmed by the House of Lords on Edward, with precedency of 1392. This was after a lengthy claim by Lady Fane, daughter of Henry Nevill, 6th Lord Abergavenny.

Edward Neville, 6th Lord Abergavenny held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Windsor from 1588 to 1589.1 He succeeded to the title of 6th Lord Abergavenny [E., 1450] on 10 February 1588/89.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Windsor in 1593.1 On 25 May 1604 the title, Lord Abergavenny, was confirmed by the House of Lords on Edward, with precedency of 1392. This was after a lengthy claim by Lady Fane, daughter of Henry Nevill, 6th Lord Abergavenny.3
