Abraham Miller (1758-1821) served as a private in the Chester County, Pennsylvania militia, 3rd battalion, Capt. Thomas Carpenter's company. He was born in Chester County; died at Briar Creek, Pa. [p.15] Philip Dotterer (1729-90) was a member of the Committee of Safety and Sheriff of Sussex County, N. J. He commanded a company in the 2nd Sussex County regiment of militia. He was born in Hanover; died in Northumberland County, Pa. Philip Achenbach (1755-1800) was a private, 1781, in Capt. Henry Alshouse's company, Northampton County, Pennsylvania militia. He was born in Germany; died in Plainfield, Pa. Thomas Connor (1738-1800) enlisted, 1777, serving as sergeant in the 11th Pennsylvania regiment, Continental Line.
